Previous positions held: Professional Indemnities Broker in the City for 9 years.

What are your main achievements / successes in the category you are being nominated for?

Working in the Personal Development and Wealth Creation Training Industry, specifically teaching private individuals to trade the stock market, I identified that the biggest challenge people have with long term personal change is keeping the focus on what they need to do on a daily basis to achieve the outcomes that they are after.

It’s been said that, “If you break a person’s focus, you will break that person.” The opposite is also true that if you help someone keep their focus on the changes that they need to make, they will achieve great success.

The solution we have come up with is MOBIvation text messages – bespoke and fully personalised text messages that are sent to our clients every weekday at 7am. These are designed to be inspirational but also to provide daily training towards the achievement of that individual’s goal. The reason why MOBIvation text messages are so incredibly powerful and are helping so many people is because we have a unique formula and structure to the text messages that has been perfected over the last four years with the help of psychotherapists, hypnotherapists and NLP practitioners to fit perfectly into the recipient’s context. This means that recipients feels like the messages are meant just for them.

The client is able to keep focused on what they need to do to achieve what they are ultimately after and keep their momentum while going through the tough “learning curve”. As a result, our clients are achieving success much quicker.

MOBIvation text messages are also being used as a retention tool for businesses that have a subscription-based membership structure. Many of these types of business suffer from a high fall-out rate of clients. Again, this fall-out rate can be attributed to people losing focus and as a result, not making use of the membership site and ultimately cancelling their subscriptions. A company such as Investment Mastery is providing MOBIvation text messages as part of the clients membership package and, as of time of writing, the company is extremely proud to announce that of its clients receiving MOBIvation, not a single one has dropped out! For an industry that can have up to a 70% fall-out rate, maintaining a 0% fall-out rate is pretty much unheard of.

MOBIvation’s client base is currently made up of aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners and investors and is soon branching out to other niche markets such as the slimming market, sales training, fitness – the list goes on. My vision is that where there are people trying to make long term personal change, MOBIvation will be there to help them achieve their goal.

What makes you most proud about your business / organisation?

What makes me so proud of MOBIvation.com is the amount of people that we are able to reach out to and help. More so than that though is how positive and powerful the impact is being on so many people. Helping people to firstly really believe that it’s possible for them to achieve these goals and then to actually see them achieving their ultimate goal. There is no greater reward as a business owner and entrepreneur. Making money is one thing but making a meaningful change in other people’s lives is an INCREDIBLE feeling.

I am also hugely proud of the support that MOBIvation is able to provide to the charity, YoungStars. These young people come from inner city areas and have faced so many challenges in so many areas of their lives and still have this incredible vision of denouncing violence and gang culture. It is an absolute honour to be supporting them in the achievement of their goals and dreams.

Community Involvement:

London Community:
MOBIvation is the sponsor of YoungStars (www.youngstars.me), a social enterprise created to address the street and gang crime on the streets of London. The YoungStars are also part of the E20 Peace Garden, a London 2012 legacy project. MOBIvation is providing support for the YoungStars in the form of MOBIvation text messages every weekday morning which is a major boost to these young people and assists in keeping them focussed on their vision.

I am also the Brand Development Manager for YoungStars and is responsible for raising funding for the enterprise from big corporate businesses under their Corporate Social Responsibility.

I also undertake presentations and business coaching sessions at entrepreneurial business meetings and university business schools. He provides the presentation and coaching for free in the hope of helping the audience understand the challenges they will face whilst trying to become successful and the best solutions to overcome those challenges.
