Motivation from a unique place…..

There is a guy who I have seen a few times in Putney High Street, London.

He has a condition that effects either his back or his legs as he can’t walk with long normal strides like the rest of us.

He can only take steps that are maybe an inch at a time. He shuffles down the high street, literally inch by inch. It must take him half an hour to walk a distance that would take you or me about two or three mins to walk.

He walks with the aid of crutches and wears special gloves that limit the stress on his hands. He often has a look of motivation and concentration on his face as he makes his way down the road.

One day I will find a good moment to speak to him and get to know this bloke. To understand his motivation.

One thing that is for sure, any time that life deals me a punch in the mouth or I get frustrated and lose focus, I think of this guy who lives his life “inch by inch” and keeps moving forward with determination and concentration. He is an inspiration!

He is MY motivation….

It reminds me of the speech that Al Pacino gave in “Any given Sunday”, that some of you may have seen. Its about stealing that little inch again and again against your opposition. 

Its small things like this that inspire me to such a huge degree.

“INCH BY INCH” folks, and “KEEP MOVING FORWARD” with motivation and concentration. We are on the right track
