Weight loss motivation: People’s BIGGEST problem in losing weight
I mean REAL weight loss motivation, not just that “kick start” that everyone gets when they associate enough pain with being overweight.
What I mean when I use the term weight loss motivation is that on-going drive to maintain your goal weight once you have lost it. The path to goal weights is littered with people who have lost it and then put it back on.
So where does it come from, this weight loss motivation?
Well, here’s the thing. I am not sure that it actually exists…. (Shock, Horror!! ;-))
To be “motivated” to do something must mean that there is going to be a degree of pain associated with it, correct?
Here’s the secret, if we associate pain with dieting or exercising then we are really not going to want to do it. This is when we need weight loss motivation.
But we WON’T need this weight loss motivation if we actually change our values and beliefs about eating healthy and exercising. This is the ABSOLUTE KEY to losing weight and achieving your ultimate weight management skill set.
Imagine that you actually looked forward to going to the gym or you looked forward to eating only the healthiest food that were on the shelves…. That’s EXACTLY what an athlete does. An athlete doesn’t need weight loss motivation.
This is precisely the approach that we take with-in Slimmers MOBIvation. We are helping people change their values and beliefs about themselves and they are shedding the weight brilliantly – but more importantly than that – we are focused on keeping the weight off!
Remember that, Athletes don’t need weight loss motivation 🙂

P.S. Please don’t take my word for it, below is one of our clients, Sophia and what she has to say 🙂
I’ve found the Mobivation approach very different and really helpful. The focus is very much on your mindset. Paul is incredibly encouraging and supportive of everyone, in a very positive way. The texts are insightful and great for keeping you focussed. The group is very helpful and supportive too – it’s a very safe environment, for anyone who is worried about that, given you are with people you don’t know – everyone is facing the same challenges.
The weekly webinars are excellent too for keeping you on track and giving extra help, tips and ideas.
In just the first 6 weeks I lost 4.5kg, in line with my targets for healthy weight loss.
This is a very different programme and although it’s still early days, I really think this could become a brilliant and widespread model for long term success on weight management.
If you are considering joining Paul’s programme, I’d say: This is a great opportunity to change your weight, long term – Don’t Consider, Don’t Hestitate, Don’t Miss Out – Commit Now, Join A Very Friendly And Supportive Group – And Go For It!!!
